Ashlee Schoen spent over two decades as an educator with Warren Consolidated Schools in Warren, Michigan. As a high school English and history teacher, she not only received a Teacher of the Year nomination but also earned Advisor of the Year honors from the Michigan Association of Student Councils and Honor Societies. In 2025, she joined Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in Riverview to teach English to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
In addition to her experience as a history and English teacher, Ashlee Schoen has led yearbook and leadership courses. She leverages various technologies to update and enhance her students' curricula.
She studied history and English as an undergraduate at Oakland University. Ashlee Schoen also holds graduate degrees in teaching and curriculum, assessment, and instruction. Her studies emphasized English education. In addition to her academic background, she maintains a Michigan Professional Education Certificate in Secondary Education and eQUIP Security Clearance. She is a Michigan Vision Screening Technician with the Wayne County Health Department.
